Elizabeth Robinson, M.Ed., R.D., L.D.N.
Elizabeth Robinson has been a Registered Dietitian at Vanderbilt Medical Center for many years. She has an undergraduate degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Utah and a Masters Degree in Science Education from Vanderbilt University. Elizabeth completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt before working as a clinical dietitian and preceptor for the Oncology, Neurology and NeuroIntensive Care Unit rotations at Vanderbilt Medical Center. For many years she was the Clinical Education Coordinator and most recently the Director of the Vanderbilt Dietetic Internship Program.
In addition to her work at Vanderbilt, Elizabeth has held positions with the Nashville District Dietetic Association, the Tennessee Dietetic Association and the Middle Tennessee Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She was a 2006 recipient of the Middle Tennesse Kidney Foundation KEEP Volunteer Award, as well as the 2007 Educator of the Year for the Nashville District Dietetic Association and the 2007 Educator of the Year for the Tennessee Dietetic Association.

Greetings! I’m from Nashville, Tennessee, and often introduce myself by saying “I am locally grown!” I enjoy training the future of our profession. It’s a competitive and changing health care marketplace. Our strategy is to grow dietitians that are built to last, that can “flex on the fly,” and know how to deliver win-win outcomes one person and one conversation at a time. The information below tells you about my journey.
Dianne Killebrew is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She has extensive experience in directing and managing food and nutrition systems in community hospitals and multi-unit hospital networks. Currently, she is on the faculty of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Dietetic Internship program and trains future dietitians to become leaders in the areas of food systems management and innovative nutrition education programming. She has received awards at the district level for Outstanding Dietitian of the Year and Outstanding Dietetics Educator.
In 2004, she founded and began producing live nutrition education shows for school kids called Nutritainment – entertaining nutrition for your health. The mini-shows are performed in the school’s cafeteria during lunch and have educated and engaged over 5000+ students, teachers and parents. She is an educational consultant for PBS’s Professor Fizzy’s Lunch Lab; an Emmy nominated interactive Web series emphasizing the importance of nutrition and physical activity.
In 2009, she launched the innovative Leadership Institute for Difference Makers. This leadership accelerator helps future dietitians find their voices as leaders in diverse practice settings where food and nutrition matters. The leadership institute has been recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as an Innovation in Practice and Education model at the 2013 Food and Nutrition Expo in Houston, Texas.
Research interests include: 1) understanding what drives food behaviors and choices in the workplace and 2) generational comparisons of individual core values of RDs to Be and practicing RDs.
Dianne is recognized as a leader with innovation and a conversation fire starter! She is past president of The Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and recently completed 6 years of service as the Strategic Plan Architect and Strategy Consultant to the Board of Directors. On a national level, she currently serves on the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Committee for Professional Development. In 2013, she was appointed to the Clinical Services Committee for Visitation Hospital Foundation; which supports Visitation Hospital in Petit Reviere, Haiti.
