The Vanderbilt Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (DMS) fosters the education of sonographers and promote the quality of patient care in the search for a diagnosis.

Upon successful completion of all program requirements, graduates are provided the documentation necessary to apply for certification exams with the ARDMS, specifically, Sonographic Physics and Instrumentation, Abdomen, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.
