A year-long program designed to enhance skills in finding and using evidence to guide nursing practice. Fellows will identify a topic of interest and learn how to form a practice question, search the literature, and apply findings to change practice. At the end of the year Fellows create a poster about their project to present at Research Day.
A series of workshops to guide authors through the publication process. Topics discussed include putting a manuscript together, selecting a journal, writing effectively, and manuscript submission and revision.
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to become familiar with the steps of the EBP process and to develop skills to help staff nurses use EBP on the unit.
