On or after your start date, you can access the VUMC Institutional DEA # plus your identifying suffix in the House Staff Portal. Enroll using this DEA # if you do not have your own DEA # or if you do not have a full active Tennessee Medical License. If you have both, use your personal DEA# to enroll.
As part of the enrollment process you may need a confirmation letter indicating your status as a resident/clinical fellow. You can obtain that by logging into the House Staff Portal and selecting the 'Confirmation Letter for CMS' option on the right side. This will be available on or after your start date.
