Attendance at Hands On is considered work time. Children or other family members should not accompany staff to this event.

Required annually for staff who provide care for patients on airborne precautions.

Required for staff who initiate, monitor, and/or remove
a restraint OR any staff providing direct care for a patient in a restraint.

TB Skin Test Skills Verification/Certification

SyringeBefore attending Hands On, complete the LMS TB Skin Test 
Bundle (including test) and bring the printable certificate to the Occupational Health Station.
Know Your Numbers

Blood pressure, weight and body mass index measurements. 
Results can be used for your yearly Health Risk Assessments.

Computers will be available to complete ONLINE training requirements at Hands On. If you are not sure which requirements you need to complete, ask your supervisor.

If you went through Medical Center Orientation (It's Who We Are and Hearts & Minds) after July 1, 2018, you do not need to complete annual requirements at Hands On or online education requirements.

For unit specific competency offerings, please check with your unit educator.

Licensed staff must maintain current licensure and all required job specific certifications (i.e. BLS, ACLS, etc.)

Licensed staff also must be in full compliance with Medical Center policies and regulations
