    Are you ready to take your career at VUMC to the next level?

    The Vanderbilt Program in Research Administration Development (VPRAD) Level 1 is recruiting candidates for its 28th cohort, which begins in August. Are you ready to join us?
    What is VPRAD?
    VPRAD is a short-term (~3 months), intensive educational experience for staff members who want to learn more about the Vanderbilt Research Enterprise.
    Level 1 is designed for folks who have some experience in an aspect of research-related administration, but who would like to learn more.
    Who should attend VPRAD?
    VPRAD is appropriate for anyone who works in a:

    • Basic or bench lab
    • Clinical research area
    • Educational or Social/Behavioral research area
    • Financial or Administrative area
    • Leadership position in the research enterprise

    What is Included in VPRAD?
    VPRAD includes a broad-based curriculum that is intended to introduce concepts and terms within research administration, including support and compliance in the research enterprise and elements of both pre- and post-award for grants and contracts.

    Is there a cost to attend VPRAD?
    There is a one-time $150 fee for VUMC employees to attend the VPRAD Level 1 Program (due at orientation on January 31st).
