The Otolaryngology Training Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is consistently ranked among the best in the country. The diverse clinical experience, high surgical volume, numerous academic conferences and teaching sessions, unique leadership training, and variety of research opportunities provides a rigorous and well-balanced training environment. Residency Program Quick Facts:

  • 5 year training program
  • 5 residents/year (9 fellows/year)
  • 6 months of otolaryngology during intern year
  • 6 months of dedicated research time (PGY 3)
  • Every Otolaryngology subspecialty represented, including Sleep
