Productivity & Technology Support is dedicated to improving workplace efficiency through expert IT consultation, prompt support, customized technology solutions and end-user training.
PTS strives to provide the following key functions:
- Meet or exceed customer service expectations regarding technology needs
- Troubleshoot and manage technology related issues to resolution
- Minimize downtime by direct, first-call resolution through the PTS Support Portal, remote desktop support tools, and on-call services
- Become fluent in departmental and user-specific information, applications, service history and hardware inventory
- Serve as technical lead on departmental projects as needed
- Remain current regarding technology trends and efficiency best practices
- Become familiar with workflows to recommend best productivity practices and tools to individual users and the department as a whole
- Provide training resources for tools and applications in an individual or classroom setting
The PTS Team
Our team has over forty years of combined IT experience, with over fifteen of these at Vanderbilt. We bring to PTS a broad range of knowledge and experience, which serve our customers through evidence-based best practices and productivity enhancements.
